Laptop Loan Program

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, F. D. Bluford Library fully supports distance and virtual learning initiatives. The Library has created a Laptop Lending Program that offers enrolled students the availability to checkout laptops for academic support and success. These devices can be borrowed on a first-come, first-served basis. Students outside of Guilford County will receive top priority.

Request a Laptop

Laptops may be checked out for a short loan period of one week. Students living outside of Guilford County may checkout a laptop for the semester. Local students (within Guilford County) have the option of picking up a laptop from the library. Students living outside of Guilford County may receive it through the mail. Students living outside of Guilford County receive top priority. Students may request a laptop in person or online with the laptop reservation form. Please provide us with your current mailing address, contact information, etc.

Laptop Pickup

Students may borrow a laptop in person during library hours, while maintaining social distancing.
Please note: if you need later times or alternate days, please indicate it on the laptop reservation form.

Mailing Laptops

Students living outside of Guilford County can have laptops mailed to you.

Can I extend the Due Date of the Laptop?

  • If you are currently an enrolled student and wish to extend the due date of the laptop, please contact us at circ@ncat.edu or call us at (336) 285-4164.

Returning Laptops

  • Students can return laptops in person by the end of the semester during the library's hours of operation.
  • Students who had laptops mailed to them will receive instructions for returning laptops free of charge through your local FedEx.

Guidelines

All university and library guidelines must be respected while utilizing the laptops. Accordingly, users will be held responsible for any damages to the equipment.

Aggie OneCard required for entry.
The library will be closed Sunday, July 4 and Monday, July 5 in observance of the Independence Day Holiday.
