Reserving Study Space

Bluford has study spaces for you! We have group collaboration rooms equipped with up-to-date hardware and software, and individual study rooms designed for laptop use. Additionally, throughout the library there are many attractive open spaces to study that do not require a reservation. Our third floor is designated as the quiet floor.

STUDY ROOM USE

Group and Individual Study Rooms are available to currently enrolled students and current University faculty and staff. Study rooms may only be reserved for legitimate academic purposes that support the instruction, research, and study needs of the University community. Using study rooms for unauthorized activities is prohibited and may result in the immediate loss of study room borrowing privileges.

AVAILABILITY

Group and Individual study spaces are available to be reserved for two-hour time blocks during building operational hours, seven days a week.

MAKING A RESERVATION

ALL study spaces are reserved through our online reservation system. No walk-up request for study rooms are taken. Please visit the online reservation system to reserve your space. When it is your scheduled reservation time, you should visit the Circulation Desk to retrieve the room key for access. You should always be prepared to show your reservation confirmation email and your Aggie ONECard.

FYI...

  • An active university email (@aggies.ncat.edu, @ncat.edu) is required to make reservations in the online system
  • Reservations can be made up to 7 days in advance
  • Students are allowed to make up to 5 reservations per week
  • There must be at least two group members present to begin a group study/collaboration room reservation
  • All reservations are cancelled 15 minutes after scheduled reservation time if the reservation holder has not checked-in by that time
  • Patrons may check-in up to 10 minutes prior to their reservation
