Student Success Librarian Wins Grant

Harvey Long

Congratulations, Harvey Long! Mr. Long and his collaborator Sarah Hernandez at Xavier University of Louisiana recently received a $2000 grant from the Statewide California Electronic Library Consortium (SCELC). Mr. Long and Ms. Hernandez will be working on a research project that seeks to define "what 'student success' means to academic librarians at HBCUs." This work will fulfill an important gap in the library science literature about student success. F.D. Bluford Library looks forward to seeing this research progress.

Harvey Long is the Student Success Librarian at F.D. Bluford Library.
